Jerk Store is a motley, single feature, monthly zine that you can read anywhere. Printed on a thermal receipt printer, issues have a life expectancy of 7 years. It is as offline as possible and is made to be passed between friends before it fades away.
Previous issues include: an interview with photographer Nicole Reed on assignment in Pyongyang (/01), Italian signage drawn by Anna Marrone on receipts from her residency in Florence while learning to engrave (/03), a browse through the vinyl collection of ARIA award-winning producer Plutonic Lab (/05), the history of North American apple naming (/09), the best pancake recipe of your life (/17), and the theory that Everything is a Quilt (/11). FORMAT
All zines are B&W and printed on a trust Epson TM-T8IIV on 80mm wide thermal paper. Artwork can be flexible in length but must be 80mm wide (75mm safe zone in the centre). Submitting artwork can be anything from .psd / .ai / .indd working files to .pdf / .jpg / .png / .tiff finished art files.

STATS
The shortest issue sits at 1m (39") and the longest at 5.4m (212.5"). Each issue is rolled into a tight roll under 2.5cm diameter. Copies of the zine are printed on demand and posted in business card sized envelopes. All paper is BPA free.
As of 10/2021 we have printed over 5km (3.1 miles) of Jerk Store.

READERSHIP
Since launching the first issue in July 2020, readership has increased solidly every month with many readers going on to collect all past issues. The bulk of the audience comes from the Jerk Store Patreon page which acts as a subscription service (currently sits at 28 subscribers). Individual issues are also available at Melbourne icon, Sticky Institute and on the Jerk Store website with international stockists in the works for 2022.
Large print versions are available on request.
Any suggestions for increased accessibility are always appreciated.
